But in case you are just trying to use PHP Pdf with an otherwise pure UTF-8 system to produce output with only ISO8859-1 characters you might get away with one additional line in class.pdf.php:

I think you can also use callback functions to handle all other html tags (excl. <b>, <i> and <u>).
But are you sure that it was working before or didn't I understand correct?.

Some new functions added. At the end of following function inside functions i found the responsible function:

I think the new class chenged something that exclude html tags. ezTextAdv() cant read html tags.
