strange characters

    Just installed windows and when opening my stored password file, and all the information: (user, service, url..etc) appear using strange characters.

    ex: ¶®2?EZæß

    Only the password characters display well, now I'm unable to find the password to the services I want.

    I've checked the XP control panel "Regional and Language Options" and it looks ok.

    Would apreciate if someone could help me on this problem.
