partimage failed profoundly on my NTFS drive. I ended up with a backup that I couldn't use--and now I have to reinstall every one of my programs by hand again. When I tried to restore the backup, it would attempt to request more backup data files than existed--and there was no indication on backup that it had not saved all the data! Luckily I had a file backup of my personal data (NOT using partimage, of course) to use when my drive failed, or I'd be screwed. Will never trust partimage again.

Just finished transferring old Ubuntu system onto a new computer and 'partimage' worked brilliantly. Thanks for saving me a lot of time transferring files.
