  • Double-click execution of par-packages under windows in beta

While I release the first beta of par on sourceforge, I'm developing on a implementation of UNIX "shebang"-line(#!/usr/bin/php) natively in c++ for windows, because windows doesn't support that. This native code will be appended to every windows par-package at the beginning of the file and runs php by execution. Using this hack, par-packages can be executed under windows with a double-click too. This feature will be available in beta2. Happy testing!
