Handspring Visor serial CNX fault

    After much frustration I finally took a multimeter to my Handspring Visor serial cradle -- discovered that hole 2 on the DB9 connector is not connected to anything on the cradle. I've asked Handspring about this, but won't have an answer for a couple of days, if at all. Anybody got any suggestions? The program sure looks great if I could only get my data into it. To answer the obvious, yes I did make the appropriate 5/5, 2/3, 3/2 connections -- there just ain't nothin' for pin 3 to find on hole 2.
