Version 1.24 is now available with a few big fixes and a new feature: the message history is searched for matches while typing messages.
Can no longer paste LFs into the message field, they are replaced with spaces. Message field now searches sent page log while typing. Context menu for Sent Pages icon in bottom right-hand corner, includes option to turn off above feature. View sent pages log window can now be opened with keyboard. Fix: Hang if no servers responded when sending pages. Full path to properties file shown if address book not found.
Version 1.23a now available with minor bug fixes.
Fix: Workaround to user home directory bug (see http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4787931) Only the most recent 200 pages are now shown in the log. Special HTML characters (e.g. ampersand) should now appear correctly in the log.
Version 1.23 now available with a few improvements. Multiple pages are now sent in a single SNPP connection. PageJeanie.Net Server users must update index.php, sendpage.php and send.php for group pages to work.
If an AddressBook setting is specified and the address book file is not found an error message is displayed. (Previously only a console message was shown). Send button icon and accelerator keys not used for Mac OS X as it conflicts with the look and feel. Global settings now read from /etc/PageJeanie.properties on GNU/Linux.
The Java client now searches recipients when typing into the "To" field and the log file only shows one entry for a group page.
