I am using WClient to receive information from OWW running on a SLUG. I am receiving temp and Wind info fine but not Humidity. Any thoughts on what I should check. Thanks

    Hello.

The first thing to check is that you have the hygrometer device assigned correctly. By default it's probably assigned just as a thermometer - maybe T2? So run owwnogui with the "-i" parameter and use the "assign" command" (or just do this by editing your devices file directly). Look for a device id ending with "26" and assign it to the first humidity sensor Humidity 1 (simply H1 in the devices file). If you edit the file by hand be sure to provide the 4 cal arguments after the device id - "1.0 0.0 1.0 0.0" if you don't want to correct any offset/scaling errors.

    Hello Simon,

I have set the device up in the devices file as H1. I can enter a custom text string for my log and I see the humidity reading. I am using version 07.04.2002 of WClient and receive Temp, Wind Speed, and Wind Dir ok.

Using version 16.12.2002 and setting the monitor port to 8890, I receive this string from OWW.

    Listening for status messages at port 8890 23.7 23.8 22.4 0.0 0.0 0.0 10 10 0.000 0.000 0.000 0.000

Oops - looks like I had a bit of "word blindness" there! I was thinking Oww Client.

The transmission for Arne's client uses a fixed format. I'm not sure he ever added RH, and as I recall there was trouble trying his more-extensive later format to work. I believe he's stopped developing it now, so I think you're out of luck with that one.

    Sorry.
