  • I launched the pc with live iso file from usb stick, but I have to login to the system. Can somebody help me what is the login username and password? Thanks!
  • Hello I have a problem and I would like to know if someone could give me a solution. I have installed Grand orgue and everything works perfectly but in the sound reproduction I notice some unpleasant clicks when I play the notes with the stops connected. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thank you very much for your help
  • Fabulous program. I now use it more than HW. Thanks to Lars' screencasts, this finally has some viable instructions. Sampling programs are rather complex, and the work done here is awesome. Thanks everyone! Insofar as the negative comments here..."paging Dr. Freud"
  • Outstanding in pretty much every way. Fantastic sound, zero latency. An awesome achievement!
  • GrandOrgue deserves 5 stars without any doubt. Because of GrandOrgue digital organ it is possible for every person who loves to Play great organs great organs. Even when you haven’t serious resources (like money or the best hardware etc...) it is Possible to play and get a realistic feeling you are actually playing a great church organ. When thinking about GO I think on Words like Awesome, fantastic, wonderful etc... THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!!
  • A mature and powerful virtual pipe organ software sampler.
  • Thank you very much for the program!
  • I've been blasting notes with this wonderful software for years now. Always a joy to use. The audio support is incredible and the sounds is unreal. Thanks to the developers for making such an amazing piece of software!
  • La programmation n'est pas clairement expliquée, surement un problème de traduction, j'ai donc commencé un fichier ''GrandOrgue pour les vrais nuls'' comme moi, 2 pages pour l'intant. Si cela vous interesse, contactez moi en MP

  • Just great!
  • Amazing - I am over the moon with this software. It was easy to install and the application ran straight away. This is a masterpiece!
  • Grand Orgue is an excellent pipe organ simulator. But it can be a bit of challenge to install, especially if you're not a seasoned Linux user. After a lot of trial and error, I got it to install on a Raspberry Pi 3B+. The 1 gb memory definitely imposes a limitation on how big an organ you can load, but I really like the sound of the program and compactness of the hardware! If you would like full instructions, email me at lhands@peak.org.

  • Great solution to start playing the organ! Some time ago I have designed and manufactured the Virtual Organ Console Unit - a device to build a virtual organ console out of available MIDI devices. The GrandOrgue software perfectly fits together with my hardware system and allows to adjust it for playing many organ sample sets. The configuration of the software is clear. I have spent minimum time to adjust MIDI channels, couplers, pistons and other organ-related stuff. If you are going to build your own virtual organ for home or church using GrandOrgue software, just send an email to me and I show how I did it on my web-site and YouTube channel.

  • I purchased a new touchscreen laptop, new interface and downloaded the Grandorgue progam into my computer. I connected all the cables and speakers to an Alborn Galanti organ. The organ would not connect at all. I have tried over and over. I cannot get help, I do not understand enough about computers. The program wasted about 700 for me and caused tremendous frustration.

  • Excellent! When I completed my home organ I was thinking about to use GrandOrgue only while I couldn't buy Hauptwerk. Today I'm in doubt about to change it, I'm not sure if a 600 dollars software (plus the cost of the samplesets!) will represent a true and clear advantage over GrandOrgue.
  • Magique, tout simplement. Ca marche vraiment bien et ma fille peut travailler à la maison pour un coût raisonnable. Cool, effective... and free ! Nothing to say except bravo! My daughter plays the organ daily on grandorgue with pleasure and success.
  • Grandorgue is really mature and does the job well. It is out there for anyone wanting to own their own organ but don't have the means to buy an expensive organ.
  • Works wonderfully! I'm so glad you kept this open source alternative going, At first, I had jjack82435's problem, then I realized I had downloaded the 32bit version, when I needed the 64bit version. It would be a good idea if someone posted the links to the downloads of both versions next to each other. Many thanks again!
  • I have been using MyOrgan, and then GrandOrgue for 7 years up to now. The last versions (since 1694 64 bits) sound wonderfull with Lars Palo Burea church extended (even if we get lots of error messages when loading..!). This is really an excellent tool for practicing. It only takes some time to install it properly. Mastering the drivers is somewhat tricky, but it's worth of it! For jjack82435: take the time to understand what is occuring. Audio drivers are rather sensitive under Windows. Direct drivers work generally well, with affordable latency. If you are using a dedicated audio board, internal or external, it may be usefull to unvalidate onboard devices (configuration panel/system/components/audio). Once again, thank you very much to all members of the developpement team, your "product" is just great!
  • perfect
  • One word is enough to say all about this app: Excellent!!!. Thanks to it I came back to the music keyboard after many years of absence. Of course it could be even better but everything has its time and place. Keep developing this app for us please. Thanks in advance. Greetings from Cracow, Poland.
  • The best in the World. Easy to install on Ubuntu. Easy to Use. Powerful on Sounds. :-)

  • This app is completely useless no sample-sets install, they just freeze the computer and probably install some type of malicious software. I actually registered for sourceforge for the sole purpose of posting a negative review of this piece of s*** app that I have wasted literally hours trying to get to work. This is worthless and just because something is free shouldn't necessarily that it is a worthless piece of s***. Miditizer works great (and you don't have to attempt to install sample-sets)- but it is a theater organ, and I have a Wurlizter 950 in my living room so my need for Miditizer is limited. Your project is a complete joke, and my efforts to save time driving to my church in order to practice have been wasted- I could have made the commute 100 times in the amount of time I have wasted with your ridiculous joke (and probably scam) software.
  • I started with Hauptwerk but I changed to GO and I really like it
  • Excellent piece of software! It's sounds is so much better than a Johannus Opus 220 it's replacing which gave up the ghost a while back. I'd say it's easy to use, but I'm not sure my opinion is valid as I'm an engineer as well as an organist...
