  • Thanks for the program under a free open source license!
  • Pretty darn good browser. Does everything I would want except lack of addons.
  • The app doesn't work. Downloaded the AppImage using Pop OS 19.04, made it executable, and tried to load a website. Failed because it couldn't do SSL. It's very fast to load, though! And a very simple clean interface. And the few http-only sites I've used work just fine.

  • Sorry for my bad english)) Thanks for nice browser!!!) I was searched an old good Opera_Presto-like browser earlier. I tried to use Vivaldi but it was a bad experience(( And he have many bugs. I was think that no browsers with old Opera concepts and barely despeired to find something but how I was mistake!) When I opened this browser - I thinked that I sleeping =) Nice job and I wish a lot of progress with this browser! I was take my old 4(or 5) -year archive of an Opera and imported all notes and bookmarks))
  • I've been using Otter Browser for about a year and half now. Being a Opera user for about 18 years. I'm still hanging on to the last Presto engine with Opera 12.18. Just wish they hadn't gone and gotten all stupid, deciding to be Chrome's little brother. Call it what you want,,, it's Google! Most people don't know it, but the features that browser's have today, came from Opera. Multiple tabs, private browsing, saved sessions, popup/content blocker, mouse gestures and a great built-in e-mail client. There is more, just to many to list. Otter is the best browser holding on to the features and traditions that made Opera 12.18 great. Otter lets you customize it's look and feel any way you want. It's light and fast and has become very stable. In the past it was pretty buggie, but no longer is that the case. Most of the work on it has been under the hood. For that reason, Otter isn't the best looking girl at the dance. Going so far as to say, it has a face made more for radio. It's a work in progress that's coming along very nicely. After a coat of paint and hanging some curtains Otter will be everything Opera lost.

Życzę powodzenia i pozdrawiam.
  • Beautiful ! Every update is always better. Thank you :-)
  • Great idea. Blazing fast speed browser! Good work!
  • Absolutely amazing browser for power-users. As someone who never used the old Opera, I find this browser very speedy and intuitive. I like to test out experimental browsers every so often, and Otter is hands-down one of the best browsers out there. I'm just waiting for adblock.

  • Well done! I'm waiting for an email client! I know it's just a beta and there are a few people working on Otter but we want something as good as the old Opera 12! Keep it up! You're great!

  • From the Otter Beta 3 release (01-11-2014) you can expect a lot! Web browser is increasingly stable, getting more features, its development is fast. Dev build every week for testers, and Betas once is ready. It is faster than Opera 12.16 Old-stable. It is good to look regularly for updates on sourceforge.net/projects/otter-browser , otter-browser.org , and official Otter Browser Forum at thedndsanctuary.eu/index.php?board=9.0 . Take care!

  • I like the concept behind this and and find the software nice to use compared to most other browsers but would like it to go further and maybe add support for the speed dial and speed dial shortcuts like old opera had (i.e. Ctrl + 1 for first thing on speed dial and ctrl + 2 for 2nd thing on speed dial and what not).

  • Very nice, fast and and stable so far. I hope you get to achieve your goal, you will have so many grateful to you.
  • Great initiative. I wish you success. You do that, what doesn't Opera Software ASA in Chropera. Please add Gecko support and mouse gestures.
  • Great idea an initiative. Keep up the good work. I guess I'm not alone relying on this project after new Opera fail.
  • I like this project. It might support extensions in the near future? Anyway, keep up the great work. I like the fact that is inspired by Opera.
  • I'm very glad i heard about this project, it's a very good idea. That's a very good start ! It's light, realy fast and it's hard to find bugs, that's awesome for an alpha version. Keep going ;)
  • Very fresh at the beginning, nice try.

  • A much needed project trying to recreate Opera in QT, using the 12.x interface, and fully open source, as it should have been from day one.
