  Version 1.17 - Fixed a bug where it would incorrectly complain about php4-gd not being present when it didn't need to (i.e. autonegerate was turned off). Version 1.16 - Fixed three bugs which popped up after refactoring the code: - Descriptions weren't cut off in thumbnail mode - Fixed a bug where full pictures were shown as thumbnails. Silly mistake. - Fixed a bug which popped up when register_globals was set to on. Now checks $_REQUEST for data. - Made file extensions case-insensitive Version 1.15 - Refactored the code a fair bit - Added code from saddlark to handle non-image files (I'd been looking to do that myself, I'd just been too lazy to start) - Expanded the code to encompass different thumbnails for different types of files - Added "now viewing" in album mode. Made it configurable from config.php. - Made the error message easier to customize. Version 1.14 - Changed Album to a more sane default than "". "/" works better. - Made fullsize persistent according to the user's choice. Version 1.13 - Fixed yet another small issue with the navigation bars for both pictures and albums - Fixed an alignment issue with the navigation bars for albums Version 1.12 - Added support for manual update of pictures. Now no longer requires the thumbnails directory be writable, if you don't want it to. Will require extra work, though (have fun). - Fixed a small issue with the navigation bars Version 1.11 - Added border colour to config.php - Fixed HTML 4.01 Transitional issues. Version 1.1 - Added font size and type to config.php Version 1.03 - Added colour option to config.php - Added extra check with regards to thumbnails Version 1.02 - Added check for whether or not the album image is readable, complain if not. Will improve this. - Fixed incompatibility with some versions of netscape, etc. - Fixed a UI problem with IE5.5 (unverified if it exists with other versions) - Fixed typo. Will be smacking self for that one. - Moved general colour setup into config.php Version 1.01 - Corrected spelling mistake. imagecopyresize was spelled imagecopyresized - Navigation UI tweak; it will now only be visible if there's more than 1 page/picture visible. - Now completely validates against HTML 4.01 Transitional Version 1.0 - Fixed a bug in the navigation code. It works properly now. - Fixed a dependency on GD2, as reported to me by Frederic Hovart. It will now work on GD v1.x, as well as GD v2.x (This is a configuration switch, and is documented in README). Version 0.9 - Changed dependency for thumbnails from png to jpeg. - Made thumbnails add ".jpeg" to the end of the filename, no matter what its real name/format is. This is to avoid brain-dead browsers which look exclusively at filenames. Version 0.8 - Improved the navigation system. - Misc UI tweaks Version 0.7 - Added check for whether or not imagetypes() is supported. - Made the code for showing a picture more intelligent with regards to links to a fullsize picture. It will now only add a link to a fullsize version if it has been scaled down to begin with. - Fixed the album list. It doesn't change position as the list changes size anymore. - Made the album list width configurable. It can be both an absolute width, or a percentage. - Cleaned up the front page code. Version 0.6.1 - Noticed that descriptions looked bad in thumbnail mode if it's too long. Put a cap on 30 characters in thumbnail mode. Version 0.6 - Thumbnails are now being created again. I broke this in v0.3 - Thumbnails are now being created in true color. - Improved the visual quality of the thumbnails generated. Any old thumbnails must be deleted to benefit from this. Version 0.5 - Made the description files valid for thumbnail mode as well. This complements the thumbnails showing their filename underneath the picture. This was added in 0.4, but I forgot to document it. - Fixed bug where page < 1 would give lots of error messages. - Made the back button while in picture mode point to the page the picture is on. Version 0.4 - Changed the way the gallery handles pages. I.e. rows and columns, instead of pictures per page. - Added width/height to every IMG tag, to reduce page reordering as thumbnails get loaded. - Added a 25% of the thumbnail size as a border around the thumbnails. - Centered the thumbnail listing, to improve looks. Version 0.3 - Added a hack where unsupported images (such as GIF, if the PHP version doesn't have native support) would still show a thumbnail. - Added support for the gallery administrator to set a max size for pictures. The user can override this by clicking on the picture. Is set on a per-picture basis only. - Misc other cleanups. Version 0.2 - Fixed bug related to the death function. - Fixed problem with huge images, which would wrap the album list. Made pictures use the entire window. Added "back" button to go back to the album the picture originated from. - Cosmetic change: changed the way the navigation bar looked, and made "(x of y)" message appear only when there's one or more pictures to be shown Version 0.1 - Initial release.
