I too am having the same problem as above.
I have now spent about a day trying to get a basic install working.
Has anybody else experienced this problem and worked out a solution ?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

if you are using Vista - you need to run the command line by right clicking the command line option, then choosing "run as administrator" or else it won't work. Also the run the server as administrator also.

I'm evaluating OSRMT on a WinXP machine with access data base and find it very useful. But, I'm having problems configuring the report function. I want to create reports where dependent artifacts are grouped together and I understood that I have to use XML-based reports. If I try to generate one of the XML sample reorts I get the error message that the XML files is not accessable.

Have you created that user in MySQL? At the end of osrmt_installation.pdf (in doc/), it gives you a good walkthough of how to configure the database.
