This is a great project. It really makes JFreeChart useful and easier to use in applications. But to make it really useful for than just demo's more of the advanced features need to be implements, like:
Histograms,
multiple axis charts
etc.

Thanks for the report. I've amended the Ant script so that Java 5 class files will be used for the next release (0.6.0).

Yes, I plan to add more chart beans. I started with the simple cases, to get a little experience with JavaBeans. I want to put a little effort into getting some useful dataset beans working, then expand the coverage of the charts. Of course, if anyone wants to help out that would be great too!

Thanks for this great project. I just finished my first test project with Orson Chart Beans and it really worked great. I am not sure how much work is involved in this and I don't want to sound rude but I was wondering if there were plans to add additional chart beans. I was specificaly interested in the financial charts (Candlesticks and others) from JFreeChart.

The 0.5 release of Orson is build with a Java 6 JDK as Java 6 class files. This prevents its usage on any computer that does not have a Java 6 JDK (e.g. all Macs).
As no Java 6 features are used, it makes sense to build Java 5 class files instead.
