Optimal BPM™ is an emerging Business Process Management system (BPM) and surrounding tools(like Optimal Sync).
It incorporates many different open source projects that relates to interoperability, transformation, context and process control.
It has no proprietary business engine, as it leaves the engine mechanics to the Python scripting engine. This enables it to be truly multi-platform, and to draw from all the features already available to the language and its sprawling and dynamic ecosystem.
It has a strong focus on ease of use and low maintenance. Anyone should be able to get started with minimal outside help and quickly get the system working.
The possibility to include custom Python scripting makes the system practically limitless. Additionally, it makes Optimal BPM and its sister projects QAL (https://sf.net/p/qal) and UBE (https://sf.net/p/ube) usable as developer libraries, as shortcuts to including Business Process Management features in development projects.
