the report generation process has changed slightly in release 9. Therefore, we are not sure if the mentioned document is still 100% valid.
We wanted to invest more resources in creating documentation for integrating OPP into other systems as well as for creating custom reports, but due to the economic situation in the first half of 2009 this was not possible. We need to focus on our customer projects until the overall situation improves (we are seeing some signs of improvements right now, so let's hope that the worst of the economic & financial crisis is over...).
In general, you have to understand that we see the Open Edition as "self service". We have no consulting business that builds on the Open Edition. Instead, we are "living" from sales for the Group and Enterprise editions of our software. We are a commercial software company that has decided to give the "base version" of our software away for free primarily in order to support other startups (such as we have been and in some way still are) and NGOs.
