Used this for almost a decade and very happy, really helped several churches that I was involved in. Thank you to the team, you have been a blessing to us.

A really good Free of charge presenting program. I have been using it for many years and I have to admit that during some years the development and bug fixes just did not happen. But it seems to be good progress on new versions lately. I have a two brand new Windows 10 computers, one running Win 10 Pro and the other one Win 10 Home edition computer and it works really well. Some features could be a bit more logical, and other are on the waiting list. The design is a bit edgy but works OK. The support works fine considering that no one is getting paid to work. I was actually amazed that it could handle more that 2 monitors when we upgraded to be able to stream our services. GOOD WORK!

Getting more and more wonky as time goes on. It seemed to be just barely adequate with Windows 7 on my old PC in the beginning, but after a while it started having problems . Now with Windows 10 and a new PC it is basically unusable. I tried to print a song I needed for rehearsal tonight and it wouldn't print. Or so I thought. I went to my church to print it there. When I got home, my document tray was full because it had printed out at LEAST a half ream's worth of copies. I did not tell it to do that. It basically assumed that I needed a copy for everyone in the congregation. My advice is to get a manual typewriter and make copies for your worship team. Or if you are bent on using some kind of software, look into Proclaim or something of the like. Apparently software that depends on donations to maintain it gets faulty after a while.

We use this software in our church and are happy for it. Was actually purchasing EasyWorship, but for our size of church this is more useful. We are around 100 persons. No cameras. Only OpenSong on screens. Black background and an extra monitor for the band and pastor. For a long period we didn't have our own room and was setting everything up for every service. Operation with keyboard is more robust than mouse when sitting with a laptop on the knees ;-) Of course, there are functionalities which are only available in more professional programs, but the simplicity overroules the missing features. A tip: we have a dropbox with all the documents. So the presenter of the day use his own laptop, which are synchronized with the most recent songs, sets and stuff.

Thank you very much for a program that is so rich of functions. I know several Churches that use it with pleasure.

Great and simple presentation program for Churches.

Great piece of software for Windows etc once you have the hang of it. It does take a while to learn everything it does, and how to get round one or two annoying tendencies to put in Gb when it should be F# with a capo. One thing I'd really like to see is an Android equivalent, at least for the chord charts - so you can put all these on your tablet and display them as you play your instrument in the worship band.

i seem easy but is old program but witch a great group of users.. and there is some much better programs this is solution for old computers

Muy bueno, pero poca ayuda he buscado por la red y no encuentro quien me responda, me he creado una cuenta aqui no escribo ni hablo ingles. El problema que veo de muchas de las personas es con la pantalla doble, solo se puede ver en pantalla individual, a que se debera? habrá que comprar una tarjeta gráfica? o alguna actualización. Espero sus comentarios.

Good day, I just tested the latest version 2.1 Final, and I find that when trying to create a new song or a new collection, the window pops up to enter the name of the new element but not the space to enter characters, making it impossible to create a new item. On the other hand I could not sign as a warning alert appears: should put on white, if I answer and closes. I hope to achieve correct this error as it is one of the best software I've ever had, light, clean, portable, etc..

This program is very, very easy to use. My 10 years old son is the "Lyrics Guy" in our church. The only feature lacking is the animated backgrounds (flash). I hope they include this in the next version. Apart from that, we are using it since 2004. It is a great program!

Very useful music organiser for church leading. Really like it. Use it for church print outs. Also the new iPad app is great. Keep developing it!

Open song is a free music presentation program that is severely lacking in documentation. The HELP file is almost worthless and there is very little real information on line. There is no explanation of the terms used and no explanation other than a straight forward 'do this' type of instruction. The 'hints' at the top of the page are meaningless. Editing is difficult and correcting on-the-fly is impossible. As one person commentated, "the idea is great but so hard to use". Needs a lot of work to make it into a better program. Being open source means that will take time.

We've been using OpenSong in church for many years now. Awesome piece of software and its pretty easy to use. Keep it us guys.
