Excellent! step by step instruction for installation. You get a wiki, a screencast video easy to install if all directions are followed carefully and a very good help staff in the forums. Like their wiki states: "So far so good"

It took me some time to make this work as I was not much aware of Linux. Once setup, it really rocks, and it simply indexed things pretty well beyond my expectations. Crawling was so smooth and I really could not stop enjoying. I am still evaluating this and my goal is extremely complex and challenging. Probably I will need to use the entire power of the search server and all it's features. I am not sure how good this might fit our needs yet. Basic documentation is extremely useful. I however, felt lack of documentation on various advanced techniques. For all your normal search, this is already extremely powerful. I am still looking for for advanced search features, like ability to sort by price, etc... these features seem to exist, but the documentation or examples o not seem to be sufficient. Well, I understand that documenting things needs a lot of time. I am however extremely happy that Emmanuel took his valuable time and replied to all my queries. Overall, this is an amazingly good search server that can make wonders and I am sure this would evolve really well.

Easy to use, the documentation is clear and you will be able to use it in 5 minuts under windows. Usefull, but you will need some php or other knowledge to query via its web API. Powerfull, the relevance is ok. To conclude....it's a good alternative to Omnifind
