Proven to work even in a complicated, real-world operating environment, OpenNOP is the right solution for me because of it's simple configuration, very low latency, small overhead, solid craftmanship and performance even under heavy load and on a virtual machine environment. With the right kind of network settings, like MSS, MTU and TCP option parameters, one can make it work just about anywhere. Has a simple and intuitive CLI which allows for easy diagnostics, monitoring and configuration. The dev is very friendly and goes out of his way to help one who has troubles. That was the best of all... But above everything else, it has much potential. Potential to become one of the best optimizers, but ceartainly THE best Open Source optimization platform out there. Because with such care, good, intuitive ideas and professionalism you can only succeed. Can't wait to test more and more releases!
