This is a new rebranching of the Metadot Portal Server to the Open Source environment, metadot corp has closed their development of the project so openmetadot is a way to keep development working.

Small Bugfix release by metadot corp: * Fixed a bug that enabled a 'site manager' to give themselves admin privileges by exploiting an obscure cgi query. * Fixed a bug in LDAP registration, where under some circumstances the LDAP user's default 'my page' would not be built correctly. * It is now possible to use <I>gizmotags</I> with the WYSIWYG HTML editor used for Page description fields. (This editor is currently usable only with Windows IE browsers). The HTML editor removes gizmotags of this syntax: <gizmotag ..>, as non-valid HTML. To circumvent this problem, it is now possible to use square brackets in addition to angle brackets to specify gizmotags.
