    I've got to say, I have used and recommended this project to a lot of people for iscsi in the past, clients inclusive, but to be clear this was pre-2.99 release. This project has seriously gone downhill. Stability and performance have tanked, documentation and "actual usefull feedback" within the forum has become nothing more than an urban legend or, at best, a mismanaged/misguided attempt at propping up what is now clearly a half baked upgrade path The out of the box experience with the current release for iscsi isnt' even usefull for a test/dev environment.

    I have been using OpenFiler for about a year now, and its been an overall OK experiance. I went through a few rough updates that messed things up pretty good, but they seem to be resolved now Pros: 1. Works great if you know what your doing, and dont change stuff often. 2. Offers a lot of features. 3. Very stables once its running. 4. Forums are pretty active with users. Cons: 1. Not the easiest to setup. 2. Documentation is a bit expensive for someone just using it at home. 3. If an update breaks something lookout.

    Thank for your work, but it's hard to use and not stable, I like it but i cannot use it. Hope openfiler will better!
