So far we have had two implementations at imaging centers, users were up withing 4 hours of installation. Scheduling is incredibly easy, data export is fast and easy also.

After years of dealing with the off-and-on antics of a proprietary system, I find in FOSS a stable, secure, reliable EMR. Easily customizable. OpenEMR rocks! My practice has been using it for 9 months now, and I have nothing but praise!

PHP, EMR and OSS are a natural fit especially in outpatient settings where providers may be logging in from any web enabled device. VistA is a great project, but real value is found in the web interface that OpenEMR provides. Hugely important OSS.
