OpenClick is an open source game creation suite written using Pygame. Its simple interface makes game design accessible to non-programmers, while its powerful event editor and "export to source" features make it useful to programmers.

We are dropping wxPython for a purely Pygame interface. This is for several reasons: competing event loops are a real pain, any GUI elements we need can be constructed quickly, and wxWidgets didn't add a whole lot to the project. MadProf has made a functioning platform engine... it isn't on CVS yet, but I've seen it and it works really well. I hope to have it up soon.
The OpenClick project is ready to go! The "Home Page" link points to the smileypro.net Wiki page for now, but that will change as soon as I can make a basic website for the project. For those interested, my progress on the wxGlade GUI is already available in CVS. As soon as I finish the file dialogs, I will work on adding some functionality to the program. We have progress in other areas as well. MadProf, who has not yet registered here, is working on the game engine (made with Pygame). His files should be available soon.
