• OpenCET 0.1.0 released

  A new version of OpenCET is now available. Version 0.1.0 implements the basic functionality and marks the product's transition to the pre-alpha development stage. The release is divided into two parts: one with the binaries and the other with the source files. The source will be also available on the SVN repository in short time.

• OpenCET gets a new site!

  In order to serve the users better OpenCET now has a brand new web site that is located at http://opencet.freehostia.com It is powered by a content management system (Joomla!) that makes the site fast to update, easy to extend as well as better looking. The new site provides the visitors with an improved design and new features like search and polls.

• SVN repository opening

  The first source code version has been imported into the SVN repository.

• Project name change

  The old name of this project was not original and could have caused confusion between this open source program and other commercial software having the same purpose. Thus this project was renamed in the hope of creating its own unique identity. However the old name is still present in the first versions of the Developer's Guide and of the release. From now on the new name will be the only one used.
