The install file of Mozilla Thunderbird is corrupt.
I've verified the MD5 sum of the downloaded ISO image (TheOpenCD_SFD2007_Edition.iso) _and_ the burned CD itself, and both are correct (0e825ad29625edba6a8c69ae13e62ed0).

Can't see an application list for this thing anywhere. I presume OpenOffice & Firefox at least, but what else? And is it specific to XP, or does it have things like XMing which will run on '98 as well?.

I was quite surprised to see that Emacs didn't make
your list of software to be included. I went and read
the guidelines for inclusion, and so far as I can tell,
it certainly meets your criteria and then some.
