Now that I rembered, I experienced the same bug when using OOo 3.1.0 (es) with most of the extensions that OOOP brings. Perhaps it´s a compatibility issue among the extensions...

Spanish version is also affected. After the installation, the Extension Manager
does not work (not even once). Actually, the whole suite hangs if you try to access it (but it recovers itself from the crash inmediately, ha ha).
At first, I thougth the bug was caused by some files being overwritten (I installed OOOP 3.1.1 over OO.o 3.1.0), but it also happens after a clean intallation.

OpenOffice 3.1.1 does the same thing on Vista Home Premium for me, the behaviour is slightly different on XP Professional where it sits checking for ages I eventually kill it, whereas the failure is quite quick on Vista. In any case if it doesn't work in the upstream product, it won't work on OxygenOffice Professional either.
