Welcome to the project pages. We just started defining goals and you are welcome to participated. What is OMIXX? The OMIXX network is a P2P-network using standard ports and protocols (HTTP) to facilitate running nodes on shared hosting contracts. Each OMIXX node belongs to one person and is the foundation of the OMIXX network. It can have links to n other OMIXX nodes (buddies, friends, contacts), can create groups of common interest and exports images, activity lists and permalinks as XML for bloggers, screensavers and destop viewers. It organizes the images (other media) in Films (temporal relationship like "my last holiday)and Sets. Sets can be static (content relationship like "all my images of tulips") or dynamic: Highest rated (by other people), Personal Bookmarks (by other people), Favorites (by the OMIXX node owner). The next tasks will be to define the protocol and start implementing a reference design. Hope to see you aboard :)
