Well the UI is fine. But lets face it - this is a translation tool, so what matters are its translation capabilities and in this regard it's lacking. Badly. The project is virtually dead (no updates) and really can't compare to the original, from which it was forked.

I came here because I was searching for OmegaT, but this is apparently a bundle of outdated packages. Which consists merely of a collection of tools instead of original work (I might be wrong, but from my first looks on it, the original OmegaT (also on sourceforge) has a higher version number and includes some more features, like better segmentation). Nothing against OmegaT itself, the software works as expected (though outdated in this package). I don't know if this confusing name is intended, but I think it's not really fortunate. After I googled a bit about the differences it appeared to me that this project is violating trademark laws. OmegaT is a registered Trademark and has forbidden other projects to use their name(not the source, that is still free). 1) The GUI isn't taxing on the eyes unlike some other CAT tools and feels very intuitive to me; 2) The software has enabled me to translate things much faster without having to worry about the tags (which might be the standard, but this one hasn't frozen on me yet and I've been using it for a good couple of months), and that's for free unlike most of the others, so yay; 3) I still haven't got the translation memory feature fully figured out (never used it much really regardless of the soft used), but assuming I figure it out the soft will gain yet another big up. 4) No need to install, just unzip, so it doesn't clog up the registry (or so I think anyway).
