Hi, I am Eva again,
I am working the program "camera" to control a ccdcamera. The
model of the camera I use is AP8b (apogee) with ISA
card.
Some days ago I had the problem that causes this letter: the ccd started giving me dark images.
It was strange because all the rest of registers of
the ccd give me right values. Except the "image data"
one.
Firstable, I fixed it turning down the camera (turning
down the PC it is connected) and turning up again.
Everything worked again!
But some days before, it happened again and nothing
fixes rebooting the ccd....it fixed on its own!!
Suddenly it started working properly.
Now, I am in this situation: The ccd only gives me
dark images if I take a photo with open shutter and
binning greater than 1.
My questions are: Is it normal? What do I have to do
if it happens? Have I broken the ccd?
