    Thank you for posting this 0.85 release.I am a long time user of XEphem...
    The installation on th Mandrake-9.1 was good, except some admin points I'll inform you later... But a question:

    Do you recommend a precise do-list in order to test all the xobs GUI
    as long as no hardware at all is connected ?
    Or do I have to cook mine to avoid startTel blocking messages about telescoped, port 7623 ....
