1)
2) I must say that I never encountered problems that I had to solve with others (even if I use to publish a few question at TheSwamp). But I 'm not currently testing 2007 version at all. I tried the OpenSource 2004/6, but I remember I had a few problems and re-installed the Old commercial ODCL programm, that was it ! I gave up, for now, I'm just waiting to face the 2007 problems later.

4) In my case, I got the old version (commercial) and I'm fully satisfied (only a few tiny bugs that I was able to avoid). Concentrate on what you think is best.
5) Same answer.
Same as Jroderick and raybee, don't have any know how C++ and ARX but I bought books about it and I am currently thiking about learning a little.
I agree with Kerry that we don't specially need new features.
I also agree with mavillamorel, it will be great !
This is my (very small) contribution, I'm in that forum just to read and to help you at the minimum I'm able to.
But I have a REQUEST, an ISSUE, an IDEA :
HERE IT IS) Please, make text files that we, foreigners, could modify to help lispers worldwile being helped in their own languages. For the moment it is only possible to make changes on a few things. I would be more than honoured to participate to French translation for the maximum of things (intelligent help, menus, properties box,...), replacing texts as I have the time, little by little (This would need for me an upload access, if possible). And I'm sure that other countries could be translated. Even partially translated, ODCL would be (much) more used. I know many lispers who don't even try 'cause thay don't manage English too much, we've been talkin' about in our forums. What I'm saying is really true. (I, myself, make efforts because it is not my mother tongue, hope you cope with it).
That would be a damned open-source and language project.
But now I have myself a QUESTION :
QUESTION) Is it possible ? More or less easy ?
Last but not least : I will donate when I'll move to the Open ODCL for 2007. I've always done it, after a time, should it be with a small or less small donation and for an open or private developper or webmaster.
Thanks to all of you, Chad, the uploaders and the posters, and viva ODCL
.... last but not least, let's go to the OPENDCL now, there is no need to stay here any more.
