  • Works like a charme again as it had been since 2005 or so when I got it first. Does not look like that bug that had caused the issue was caused by the plug itseld but by NPP+ considering that the plug in stayed the same since 2017 and now it suddenly works again.
  • NPPCalc has been broken since 2016. People, don't bother.
  • Plugin is 32-bit DLL. Not supported by NPP x64 !!!
  • Some bugs in calc: both Bin functions returns same result ;-( bin(0xffffffff) 0b11111111111111111111111111111111 bin(0x1ffffffff) 0b11111111111111111111111111111111 Need some error check/feedback

  • NPPCalc has issues with recent NPP but anyone stating basic math functions will provide incorrect results is WRONG. Been using it all of 2016 and part of 2015 @rate of 4-6 times a week with all results verified by calculator (& outside financial institution results comparison also). NEVER ONE ERROR from NPP Calc. NB: I only verify with calculator to catch my own possible (transcribing) mistakes. I never give perfect rating cuz there is no software that is perfect. A 4/5 or 9/10 is about as good as any software I have ever seen/used. E.g., NPP Calc has irritating display that makes it put results on separate line, does not add "=" in front and has no menu option in NPP for right-click evaluate that works. Also, I have not used the more advanced functions so could not give it 5|10 anyway. I cannot use it anymore because with NPP 6.9.2 NPPCalc causes display and editing errors. Since NNPCalc has not been updated for a year, I consider it a File 13 plugin.

  • Several commands that you can use to solve many administration requirements. I recommend trying execute first the help file and after that try fit your necessities.
  • hopefully you don't use it for your checking account because it doesn't even add correctly ... and support has been non-existent ... one star because the basics don't work correctly ...
  • I have been using this for almost a month now. It is very useful for creating ranges, alarms, collecting list of filenames from folders so I don't have to type them out manually! I have been playing with for loops, building arrays, and some CRC stuff. Unfortunately, either it doesn't do next line executions or I can't find out how. That would make this almost as useful as matlab for most cases. Highly recommended but I did read up on mathpad a little and haven't used it enough to say it's as useful as NPPCalc because NPPCalc has many useful system commands (read from file, msg popups, etc..) Try it out and if I use it any more I will donate a little but I usually wait until I am happy with a product to give to the developer.
