I'm currently rewritting the program NoSuch Library. There were lots of possibilities listed while I was developing the project under Linux. But I think the audience for this kind of software is working with Windows (most of them). In fact, I was facing too much difficulties to develop the project for both platforms and to get it working exactly the same way. That's why I'm currently rewritting the software from scratch, using C# (the whole .NET framework) and SQLite.
Lots of changes in this new 0.2.0 release. First of all, people can add a new recording automatically using a brand new wizard. In fact, there's always a text file describing the setlist of the bootleg along the sound files ( mostly with .shn and .flac files ). Because NoSuchLibrary allows people to automatically get the complete discography of an artist, it can recognize which are the songs played using the text file. Then, there's a lot of goodies that can be done easily like renaming the files while adding them to the library. This is the most important change in this release. Next release will include the import/export option. It'll be very helpful when you'll want trade your bootlegs and importing a new bootleg. Also, it'll be possible to generate a new textfile describing your bootleg and generate a PDF file containing all the recordings you got of an artist. Next step: to do some minors updates of the GUI and probably some bug fix.
