The Mac side of NewtSync sees the bluetooth-pda-sync port; it would be useful for the Newton side of the app to be able to swync directly over bluetooth, rather than going through the voodoo of setting up a bt PPP server on the Mac and connecting via NIE from the Newt.

I have also noted this. I am wonderign ehther a temporary solution
would be able to reload the older version i.e. 1.5 would provide sucha
solution.
Does any one know where one can access and downlaod version 1.5 (not
1.52)?.

Notes that are entered under the names in the newton do not copy/
sync over to the notes in the address book on the computer. not
sure if this was function or a bug. I note the same ical bugs also.
overall, this is a great product. thanks for making it.

the dates plug-in refuses to sync with iCal, stating that the version
of iCal is not version 1.5 or better, when the version of iCal is 1.5.2.

I keep getting errors on address syncing. Everything
else seems to work.
When I looked for a solution I found Chris Hagedorn's
addresssyncplus 4.0 plugin which actually got me
further than the orginal.
He looked at it and said it looks like an internal
error in NewtSync.
Please help.
I would be very glad to make a donation towards your
efforts to support the Newton with this...

iCal allows the user to have multiple calendars (Personal,
Business, Holidays, etc) but the Date sync plug-in only allows one
calendar to be synchronized with the Newt.
The most basic improvement would be to make nSync work kind of
like the Palm iSync conduit; all calendars can get sent to the Newt,
but any new entries entered on the Newt are always added to a
specific calendar...
