    Hi Francois,

I will update the documentation next time around to describe more adequately how raw SNMP trap information that's stored in the LENS_TRAP and LENS_TRAP_ARGS tables are converted into NetworkLens events.

In our environment, I've set up a cron job to run "lens-trap" every minute although I suppose the other suggestions you mentioned would be feasible as well.

For each trap OID that you expect to handle, you need to define a "category" for it, a "severity" for it, and some information that will be used to make up the event description. Take a look at a documentation file I just added to see some sample entries.

    Thanks for the feedback/questions!
