I use Net Statistics (2.0.2.40) to count my traffic over an UMTS cellphone internet connection. The service program of the cellphone software provides its own interface when the internet connection is up. Use the .ZIP version instead; just extract it in your install folder (you might need to create it manually first).
This is a known issue with CAB installer library and Administrative user rights.
