The original schema was given to me to use (it does work, although I can change the names).
Here is a brief overview:
Termination: This is any network component connection point that a cable can connect to, excluding Switches and End Devices (examples are computers, printers, etc)
Every Termination has a container called a Panel.
Panels can be grouped into types called Panel Types. Common Panel Types are the "Jack" and the "Patch Panel" (You may choose this naming convention yourself when making Panel Types, but do not use Add -> "Jack Panel" or "Switch Panel", if you do not want "Jack" or "Patch Panel" Panel Types).
The user interface allows you to add a "Jack Panel" and a "Switch Panel". These are simply predefined Panels with their Panel Types and connector set as default.
