netatalk + samba not sharing mp3 files!!!

    I have come to discover that MacOS 9 will only see mp3 files that were created on a mac (i.e they hold a special header of some kind?)

    I have full translation stuff on but still can only see all the files on windows with Samba. Is there anything to do?
