The NDBE is an abstract database layer for PHP *and* a rich online database editor. The former allows users to write PHP database code once, and run on any of several SQL engines. The latter lets users edit the data that powers that code! Extend the editor in many easy and powerful ways to create a data input interface that is both efficient and easy to use! NDBE 1.2.2 is another minor fix release -- see the INSTALL file for a list of changes. Most noteably the parse error in NDBType_AutoDateTime has been fixed; this could cause the editor index page to display a blank list of tables for any database connections. Request to users: if you find something difficult to use, understand or even just want to know some of the possiblities that some portion of the NDBE is capable of, please email me (ajpatter AT users.sourceforge.net) -- I'm also looking for suggestions on documentation to post, so send along any that you'd like to see!
<ul> <li>fixed parse error in NDBType_AutoDateTime that could cause editor index page to fail to load <li>freeResult() failing on a MySQL database will no longer output a warning <li>minor documentation updates <li>aligned NDb class method names with NDBE method naming style (should have no impact) <li>forgot to mention in last release: NDBE.php no informs you if required INI settings or extensions are missing </ul>
