******************************************************************************** * * * NAVIO-Gui version 1.0.2 RELEASE NOTES * * * ******************************************************************************** In this realese, for the user covienience, pressing "stop" button or "pause button" also stops turns and camera panning. The remote navigation area can send turn signals by dragging the mouse in the desired direction over the navigation area, pressing the corresponding turn button(toggle button) in the same direction will stop the turn. Plus, this release includes some bugfixes: > The NAVIO-Gui default close operation (main window closed) now closes correctly both, NAVIO-Gui and NAVIO through the corresponding signal. > Each Java Exception forces NAVIO-Gui to close, so that even if connection with NAVIO is lost, the Java application won't freeze. > As a protection for NAVIO, in this release there is a 250-millisecond pause in the program after every signal is sent. This way NAVIO doesn't get confused when multiple consecutive signals are sent. In this version we have these new things NavioEdit: A very useful program which you can edit and add virtual objects in your world and create your own xml configure files for navio. See in NavioEdit directory. New cluster support: We have a new cluster implementation for navio, based on udp sockets, run the script (examples directory) run_cow_cluster_pc.sh to see it working on your pc, and run_cow_cluster_pc_gui.sh to use with the GUI.
