Awesome. Small, compact, low resources. So many possibilities. Needs more community support.

super lightweight window manager

Tested on Lenovo T61 but when it boots the speakers produce a very loud static sound.

Perfect OS for any minimalist.

Increíblemente rápido, con todo lo básico, lo probé con 64 MB de RAM y 30 MB de disco, funciona fantástico, nunca vi un SO de ventanas con esas capacidades y tan rápido.

Looks very promising, at least from distance, since it failed to properly boot on my Thinkpad X61s - no GUI, some errors about no mouse and -1957461975492 (or something similar) bit depth so it couldn't connect to X. I used core2USB to install the ISO to a small 16MB USB stick and booted from that. Maybe that was the reason, but it should be OK, because core2USB was made for TinyCore. I would really like to try it out and see it succeed in the long run. Tinycore is cool, but Nanocore could be 'IT'. Although I think maybe spreadsheet, text editor and maybe somehing else should be optional downloads and proper web browser should be included, by default, with flash support. I do love Dillo - it's compact, elegant and hacked version has frames etc, but it just doesn't cut it in our current web centered reality, where there aren't too many basic, html websites left in the world (I wish there were). Small modern browser (maybe something like QtWeb, forked from it, or something forked from links2, although it's almost as old as Dillo) would be what's missing.

this is a truly lite and speedy distro! Plus, it's polished and looks beautiful. Nanolinx, probably, would be even faster & liter if you were to use TinyWM as the windowmanager ... Similarly, i think this distro would be xtra-lite if you were to use KolibriOS as a base to build it up.

This is great. Can't believe how many apps have been packed with the kernel into 14 MB. It's a truly lightweight distribution.

Very fast and little bit system. I like it for fun/experimant, I had not seen such little system before. Georg did good job.

I just downloaded Nanolinux and put it on a thumb drive. It booted in about 20 seconds. But for some reason the icons keep sticking to my logitech wireless mouse cursor. Nothing would open mind you but I had fun trying to unstick the icons. The START button worked once. Could it be operator problems? Please understand, I am not being critical. I'm a fan of all small linux distros. I like what I've seen and I know they'll get the bugs out soon. Thumbs-Up guys. Hang in there.
