If you like BBS packages like Telegard, Iniquity, Renegade, OBV/2, Illusion, etc, then Mystic is without a doubt what you are looking for! Mystic is the one of only actively used, developed, released, and supported BBS package similar to many of the "scene-accepted" packages from back in the days. And it is open sourced with native versions for many platforms.
