Music Server is a client-server MP3 jukebox platform implemented 100% in Python. The focus is in usability, reliability and extensibility. Quick summary: MP3, playlist support, WEB CGI interface, command-line interface, infrared remote control support, playback history, player queue. What's new since 1.1.2: * Finally easy distutils setup: "python setup.py install". * Project tree reorganized. * Preliminary support for using Twisted Matrix as the server platform. What's new since 1.1.1: * Infrared remote control client (using LIRC) * Playback device specific playing queues (and preliminary support in the CGI user interface, too) * COPY and REMOVE commands for modifying the server tree from clients (e.g. playback queue control) * Client configuration using environment variables instead of modifying the client example scripts
