Hi,
I am aware that mummer is a tool primarily for aligning 2 genomes, but
I am looking for a way to find genes that are similar bewteen 2 genomes (the 2 genomes may be different - orthology, or the 2 input genomes may be the same - paralogy).
Is there an efficient way to achieve this using nucmer/promer?
My input are the lists of genes for the 2 genomes.
I have tried both nucmer...
