    This is a problem with their older router not handling QoS properly. I would suggest you disable QoS on your ethernet card (in network settings) and see if that allows you to use 1.1.8.

    1.2 will be out pretty soon, and if you want a free 1.2 Alpha server you can head over to http://midnightgaming.net and get one for as many slots as you want in the mean time.
