Happens to me all the time
In the "Pioneer" pane you see the warning "no file length info"
And of course there is no percentage, no progress indication, no resume support in this situation
But the server did send it
I can see in the "Thread1" pane that MultiGet got from the server the correct "Content-Length" header
So it's a bug
You can test it in this URL...

Hello,
Just installed multiget.
When I got to an FTP site and I paste a directory as a task (to get everything under the directory), multiget tries to download the directory as a file.
Why is that?
How can I download a directory tree off an FTP-site easily?
Thanks!

Is there a way to copy a task so I can do this again and again. I download certain files daily with slight name change like day of the week or date. I do these on a weekly basis. if I can copy the task and prepare a batch list to run for each day of the week that would be great.
Thanks this is a great product. Some what similar to MassDownloader from Meta Products (check them out)

I created a download task and specified a user/password. I see it is added to the url in the main window. However, the requests sent to the server my multiget do not include any authentication information -- hence the downloads fail with a 401-Authorization required erro.

Already done - with the .deb in Linux - the MENU gets the occurrence of MultuGet. Drag and drop will do the rest, natch:-)

Well, I'd like to see that most rare of beasts in downloaders - a selectable download start time - as opposed to the usual 'start right about now' most if not all all downloaders use..
By way of explanation - we need a start time option for downloading with many ISP's who have peak and off peak times.
Say, if we're looking at things in peak time and decide to download material which involves...

under xp, using the latest MultiGet-1.1.2-windows.rar,
when running, right click the left 'task tree view', the program crashes.
