This is a cross-platform integrated development environment for the Multi-User Forth programming language use in MUCKs. The IDE supports color syntax highlighting, integrated primitive help, project management, upload script creation, and other features.

Thanks to Windows98 (and NTBSD Microsoft), I lost the project for the IDE. But, alas, good things come of bad sometimes, as I am completely remapping the project to work a lot nicer and have a lot more features. To release my goals include: * - having the syntax highlighting working * - having support for syntax highlighting for both MUF and MPI * - using a file format to allow for the creation of new syntax codes (and highlighting) so that the IDE can be extended to support the programming languages for MUDs, MOOs, MUXes, etc., without having to tamper with the source code. * - The ability to add new program types (and associate them in Windows) using source code structure files. Future plans (possibly for future releases) includes using XML for the source code structure files, dynamic help generation (possibly incuded in the SCS files), and bug fixing. ~Michael "Kaze" Kesler
I finally registered a project page for the IDE. Yay! :) I figured that I'd explain some stuff in the design part of the program. First, it's written in C++ with the wxWindows API (http://www.wxwindows.org). I wish to personally thank them for releasing the API under the LGPL, otherwise this project may have more issues with the cross-platform coding than I personally wish to deal with. In other news, I'm on phase one of the planning (which is learning the wxWindows API and translating the Win32 MFC source into the wxWindows equivalent). My next step is to act like I know how to make a dialog in wxWindows (mainly through trial and error), and create the project interface. My goal is to have an alpha version released sometime by March or April. ~Michael
