There are quite a few reports of people having trouble using MTFI with newer versions of MiKTeX. For me, this is a problem finding ttf2tfm on MiKTeX 2.7 with Windows XP SP 3. Thanks this helped. Now how do i use the fonts. I named my fonts to be geometric, cant find the .sty files to use the fonts.

MTFI fails if MikTeX directory name contains spaces. if it doesn't, MTFI works as expected.
I think this is due to the tokenisation in the executeRead function, which simply explodes the string at its spaces. It should take the given quotes seriously.

Probably too late now, but try providing all paths without spaces i.e. using the old dos 8.3 style names so that C:\Program Files\MikTeX 2.x\ becomes C:\Progra~1\MikTex~1.x

Hello!
I try to use MTFI with Miktex 2.7 Beta 3. I had to provide the local and base miktex directories, which seem to be the same in Miktex 2.7 (\Program Files\Miktex 2.7\).
The problem is that the program stops at "Execute the ttf2tfm command and create the .tfm file".
Can you help me?

I hope that the next release will work with MikTeX 2.5 and 2.6, which haven't a separated local directory.
