My top wish list for the mpman gui are the following:

Ability to queue up files via 'shift + click' format - possibly also a GUI implemtation of playlists. (along with, as you mention, in advance calculation of memory capacity).

Storing of options such as mpman f10 / f20 and default directories

A bit of colour on the GUI !!!

The ability to delete files which aren't labelled .mp3 - though I fear this may be a deficiancy on the mpman itself rather than your program as the command-line mpmf20 doesn't seem to be able to delete files which aren't .mp3 without an initalise.
