It's a good movie player, but it has some bugs, and these can't be repored thanks to their new "trac" bug report systems which don't let you do anything, and full of bugs.

Audio quality is horrible. Audio boost is horrible. VLC easily, without competition, beats MPC-HC audio performance. So much so, that I have abandoned the latest build. Though VLC can't play 4k, it sounds amazing. Can't say the same for Media Player Classic. Through your junk audio render-er into the garbage.

Fantastic player. Please consider a touch shell, even if it's only swiping 30 secs back/forth, and bigger scrub and play buttons. On my Surface it's suboptimal with the tiny knobs.

I very very like mpc-hc, so nice app. but i update to 1.7.0.7858, and add directvobsub filter to external. after, i find mpc-hc play rar volume of video, directvobsub don't add subtitle. but 1.6.8.7417 can add subtitle.
