A new release of the mp3manage program has been announced. This release incorporates small but useful bugfixes and enhancements (compared to version 2.1.2) that make working with mp3manage even easier and safer. mp3manage is a Perl script that can edit and beautify the filenames and tags of your music files. It comes with built-in support for ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags in MP3 music files as well as for Ogg Vorbis tags. It can also sort these files into an easy-to-access directory structure using a well-documented command-line interface. It's the perfect tool for downloaded files. It has special support for the filename format used by http://www.allofmp3.com This makes it so much easier to rename all your downloaded music!
