• Adduser-Scripts Adduser v0.3 file released: Adduser_v0.3_Install.tar.gz

  ADDUSER CHANGELOG v0.2 - adduser will help newbies to add easy and in a short time newusers on Linux\uniX box - Easy to use , no need instalation - Dont eat a lot or resources .... - send automaticaly mails for r00t and new user - etc...etc.. INSTALATION * Fist of all you must to have a Linux/Unix box with useradd installed :) * You must to have /usr/bin/chfn and /usr/sbin/chpasswd on your`s box becouse this adduser v0.2 use that. WARNING !!! +_+ Do not install addusers v0.2 if you dont have useradd , chfn , and chpasswd +_+ USE AT YOURS OWN RISK !!! * If you have that installed on your`s sistem just hit ./install.sh * If install.sh is not start just chamod +x install.sh :)) * After that do pico or vi or whatever you have installed as a editor and change this in /user/sbin/adduser : - at line 205 you`ll see " PROMPT="${YELLOW}(ex. Initial group for $USERNAME [boys])${NORMAL}"" change "boys" with what you have default on your`s sistem - at line 210 were is "GROUP="boys"" change "boys" with what you changed before - at line 232 where see "PROMPT="${YELLOW}(ex. Initial HOME directory is [/ftp/$USERNAME])${NORMAL}"" change /ftp with your`s default /home directory , can be /home. - at line 237 were you see "HME="/ftp/$USERNAME"" change /ftp with your`s default home directory That must be all and adduser must to work for you . As a admin at a company i encorage ppl to make many groups . that`s why i make the script to work like that you can make your`s own group with groupadd [-g gid [-o]] [-r] [-f] group . In the next vresion i promise you to not let you to make that change :)) HAVE FUN !!! Chages : - listing shells from /etc/shells - fixing /etc/skel if is not ok - chattr +a .bash_history if the box use /bin/bash as default login - emulate sh for bourne compatibile HAVE FUN !!!   FLOODRATE TODO LIST v0.1 INSTALATION * Do `make` to make floodrate program with CC * Then you do `make install` to install the prog. * That`s all :)) * If you want to uninstall floodrate just do `make uninstall` and this will remouve floodrate * Files : - AUTHORS - COPYING - FAQ - floodrate.c - Makefile - NEWS - printx - README - TODO That must be all and floodrate must to work for you .
